As I've been posting for a few months now, I'm getting a better idea what this journal is all about. At first it was about the journey from Seattle to Nashville. Then it became a place to share my personal reviews of each show I played out here. And since then it's developed into a more all encompassing diary of my thoughts on many facets of life. With the scope of the journal expanding, the point of view stays the same: Through These Eyes. The title comes from a song off the second album with my family band, The Traveling Mercies' Hey Lazarus! album.
